Video is great. Podcasts are awesome. Social media has great reach. But live is best.

Surfing heron 🎥 by Tatjana Epp

We've seen a few Hippo Surfer Herons, but this is by far the fastest. The wing styling by the end is superb. 🏄🏼‍♀️

Love the way the Guelph Chamber Choir was able to pivot and change the performance time guelphchamberchoir.ca

Now it is at 6pm so we can also catch the game!

Love the poster too!

Begging Bear has Blue Jays fever.
At $1600 tickets are pricey for Blue Jays World Series.

However tickets for the performing arts still surpass sports by a long shot.

Taylor Swift tickets for her Toronto show - $2320 US

Go arts go!
Dear snowbirds: So glad to hear you are going to spend your winter at home this year. Winter can be fun. It's all about clothing. Snow is fun. See you out there this year.

Hoping the positive power of baseball and Halloween candy can turn the world around and set it on a new course.
Especially when times are tough you need to pull a community together. A sense of pride, purpose plus inclusion and together the community does great things and solves pressing problems. That’s what a Bicentennial can do. www.guelphtoday.com/local-news/d... It’s more than cake.
Draft budget sees some city funds return for Guelph’s 200th birthday
The funding was previously removed from the 2025 budget

Promise to re-route the tour jwalkguelph.blogspot.com so we can catch the score Friday if it comes to that.
How many of you caught that I put the wrong date in the video?
Here's the corrected version. 🤣

Yup you have to work up the courage to phone of email me to reserve. Not for the faint of heart. No hiding behind a ticketing service with fees. There's a tariff war happening.

As we head toward the Municipal budget remember...Research indicates that immigration accounts for only about 11% of recent home price increases in Canada, while the majority of the rise is attributed to factors like low housing supply, cheap borrowing, and market speculation.
In the event that the car does strike you, the law is on the pedestrian's side because if a vehicle strikes a pedestrian on a road (which is a public place) the vehicle is at fault, always. True the damage to the pedestrian is greater.
In fact the most dangerous place to cross the road as a pedestrian is at an intersection - too many directions. You are actually safer crossing down the road even if there are no traffic lights. Why? Cars are only coming at you from 2 directions not 4.
Hey #Guelph I think I found our bicentennial project. Build another Priory - a place for everyone to live while shelter is being built. Something will have to be done if Doug's "Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act" becomes law.

Today!

(And we might end a little early to leave extra time before the game.)
Next Saturday! A new walking tour filled with bone-chilling true tales from Toronto's murderous past.

Just meet at the corner of Front & Jarvis at 5pm. We'll end near the Eaton Centre about 2hrs later. Pay what you like!
