MSF strongly condemns the killing of Omar Hayek by Israeli forces this morning in #Gaza. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues.

Omar is our fourteenth colleague to be killed in Gaza since the war started. We call yet again for an end to the genocide.

This one? Or is there another?

I remember when I was a teenager, a car smashed though the front of the house. That corner gets wicked slippery in winter.

Looks like @winnipegtransit.bsky.social system maps are out at various locations, including #Winnipeg libraries. We suggested printed maps in a Manitoban February 2024 op-ed. Good on #WinnipegTransit #Winnipeg #publictransportation

Without urgent, radical intervention, #Gaza faces total annihilation.

We call for an immediate end to evacuation orders used as a tool of forcible displacement, a lasting ceasefire and the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid at scale.

This sounds like a great event by @bikewinnipeg

Winnipeg transit is supposed to be putting the 60 footer zero emission buses in service effective next week

The rollout on these has faced quite a few delays but here’s hoping it all goes smoothly and they’re fully integrated for the fall schedule 🤞🤞

The Winnipeg Humane Society is out of room.

They took in 573 cats in July, in addition to all of the animals already in shelter and foster.

Reduced fees right now, so bring a fuzzy ball of joy (or two!) into your home
