Easy Lemon Scrub
Here's how you can use just half a lemon and some bicarbonate of soda to scrub a multitude of items. Stainless steel, chopping boards, refresh that microwave, but the best use of all - inside oven doors. Just take a whole lemon and cut it in half, then rub it into a plate of bicarbonate of soda. To clean, all you need to do is rub and squeeze, rub and squeeze - and wait until you see all the grease and grime that this can cut through. These two ingredients together are mildly abrasive, deodorising, and antibacterial properties. How clever is that!

The FOUR things you really must clean when you board a cruise ship

Carpet Odour Remover
Do you have some smelly old carpets that get right up your nose? Well, using just two ingredients (Bicarbonate of Soda & Essential Oil) you can restore some freshness again. Add 1/2 cup of Bicarbonate of Soda into a bowl (120g), give it a stir to loosen it, then add in 10 drops of your favourite essential oil. I like fruity zesty ones, but if you have pets, then I would only recommend lavender because most others can be harmful.

Natural Wood Cleaning Tip
Here is a great tip on how to clean your natural solid wooden furniture using only two natural ingrediants. Coconut oil which will nourish the wood, and lemon juice which will add cleaning power and a great shine. Firstly take a big spoonful of coconut oil and place it in a microwavable bowl. It should roughly be around 2 tablespoons worth.
