Movie recommendations on Sunday and book recommendations on Monday. Now I added Comics Recommendations for Saturday. And check out Mediocre Movie Tuesday. It’s not much of a description but if I don’t mention it, I won’t remember it at my age.
If an illegal and murderous war with Venezuela means cancelling elections, the war will be not just against Venezuela. The war will also be against America itself.

Rush Limbaugh once described a liberal as “someone who wants to do good things with money that’s not theirs”. A MAGA “conservative” is someone who wants to do terrible things with, you guessed it, money that’s not theirs.

Hurry!!! Hurry!!! Get your FIFA prizes while they last!!! Or at least until the truck arrives Monday morning.

I just started Pluribus a few days ago. Me watching a show about a foul mouthed Sarah J. Maas stand in wasn’t on my bingo card but here we are.

Mediocre Movie Tuesday: So this older woman uses social media to destroy the relationship of a much younger man she is smitten and faces no consequences. Not a good example to be set.

I’m not gonna call The Netflix bid on Warner good but I do have reason to believe it won’t be as bad as a Kushner / Paramount buyout will be.

Forgiveness is for the person who paints graffiti on your house, apologizes, cleans it up, and never does it again. Forgiveness is not for those who knowingly vote us into fascism and still cling on to ideas that should have died with Hitler in that bunker 80 years ago.

Sunday Movie Recommendation: Kill is not only a movie that really lives up to its name, it also has beautiful, colorful cinematography, heartbreaking moments, villains that aren’t one dimensional, and quite a few other surprises that set it above most action films these days.

If ever you have something mean and hurtful to say about Elon, stop and think about what you say. I mean, really take time and evaluate your words.

Then find a way to make them even more insulting and offensive.

Hahahaha!!! Had you for a second, didn’t I?

Saturday Comics Recommendation: Search and Destroy is a wonderful futuristic take on the classic manga Dororo. A young cybernetic woman must kill everyone who has a part of her formerly organic body. For each part she reclaims, she becomes weaker and slower.

I’m really starting to wonder if Hillary threw the 2016 election.

Has anyone ever tried to explain to Ogles just what a settler is? What was he doing during his third grade history class?
Pinocchiogles really thought he cooked here. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Mediocre Movie Tuesday: The Last Blockbuster is very good when we hear from those involved with the store in Bend, Oregon. When we hear from celebrities like Doug Benson who can’t stop laughing at his own unfunny jokes, it isn’t good at all.

One mugshot is of someone who did what they were accused of but expresses no shame because what they did was not wrong. The other is of someone who did what they were accused of and expresses no shame because they believe the rules don’t apply to them. Can you guess which is which?

Until Bluesky allows a post-comment edit, I will continue to apologize for my grammatical mistakes that I notice.

I am not familiar with Sabrina Carpenter’s music but I can certainly respect how she is fighting against it’s misappropriation. Fight them, Sabrina. Fight like hell.
Sabrina Carpenter responds to the WH stealing her song to use as background music in a montage of ICE arrests.

Monday Book Recommendation: The Book of Skulls was written by Robert Silverberg, a writer who specialized mainly in science fiction. However, 99% of what happened in this book can happen in real life and possibly the remaining 1% too.

Sunday Movie Recommendation: Computer Chess is a dark and inventive film set in the very early days of computer gaming. A group of programmers get together to play chess and find there is much more to the “game” than they can imagine.

Democratic Socialism is not something the Democrats need to “work into over time”. It’s something that can and needs to be accomplished NOW. The time for caving into Republicans who will hate you no matter what is over.

When someone gets murdered at sea, let’s call it “getting Hegsethed”.

Saturday Comics Recommendation: Hyde Street is probably my favorite Ghost Machine title right now. Great characters, fabulous artwork, and wonderful world building.

I stayed the hell away from Black Friday today, not even a penny spent, and Cyber Monday is going to get exactly the same kind of love from me.
