Possibly although Brentford were dreadful, midfield was weak and had no striker in the first half. They bought Henderson and Schade on and were the better team 2nd half.

I think we've bought poorly this summer. I don't know what the scouts have seen in either of the signings from Italy. McAtee, Hutchinson, Kalimuendo and Bakwa have promise but are too similar and seem lightweight.
Agreed, seems odd to baulk at £10m comp for someone like Silva but then spend £34m on a lump like Ndoye - then the same on another two wingers straight after.
