Racism is becoming way too comfortable in evangelical circles. You now have very prominent pastors calling Zohran Mamdani a “Jihadist” and using 9/11 as an argument against him simply for him being a Muslim.

There has always been a clear pipeline between Christian Nationalists and right wing Christian populists to social nationalists sympathies. It’s time to have a study tracking the rise of national socialists/authoritarian sentiment in the Christian Right. The data is there.

Everyone, meet my fiancé.

24 years since life changed for all of us who knew the innocence of pre-9/11 life. Tragedy has an odd effect of reminding us of the importance of unity despite our diversity. May we get back to that unity.

Political violence is cowardly. It’s damnable. It’s from the pits of hell. We are better than this a nation and we should not be satisfied until this violence is squashed.

No one deserves violence. No one. God be with Charlie Kirk and his family.

The most interesting thing to watch with this rise of Christian Nationalism from within our own government, and by those like Doug Wilson, who have spent years working towards this, is how quickly it always becomes about the abuse of power and never about the advancement of biblical faith.

Listening to a podcast about Ruby Ridge just to randomly hear them interview @andrew-whitehead.bsky.social.

Alright, professor friends, is seeking a PhD the route to go if I’m wanting to get into the faculty of a divinity school/theology department? Needing some second opinions.

“Christian nationalism doesn’t exist. And if it does, it only exists in a vacuum.” Meanwhile the SECDEF tweeting about Doug Wilson’s evangelism of Christian Nationalism.

My assumption about the modern far-right conservative is that their ideology is not based on historical insight or even logic, but rather being an internet “edge-lord.” They quote memes for references, they bait AI to repeat their prejudice, and they’re entirely selfish in their goals.

We need less pros on everything and more pros on one thing. A fault of the internet is that is had convinced people that they are intellectuals in multiple things simple bc they went down a YouTube rabbit hole. It’s okay to not have an opinion on everything that’s trendy.

Advocates of Christian Nationalism are very quickly becoming less silent on their fandom of national socialism. It relies on prejudice, historical revisionism, and the end goal of power consolidation. And those who advocate for it know all of this and they do not care.

Big weekend of hating the Mets and unsubtle hints.

The other place is nothing but fascist sympathizers and it’s disturbing.

It’s not impossible for the US to have an Orbán-like politician, and Trump clearly admires him. We don’t have to be in a crisis to fight against overreach though, we can do what we can to fight it now. People hardly ever know they’re losing their democracy until it’s lost. Let’s not repeat history.
May 11, 2025 at 3:43 AM
There is an actual rise of fascist sympathizers in the MAGA/far-right movement that should seriously be talked about.

There is something so deeply wrong within the mind of Andrew Isker (excerpts from his book “Boniface Option) for him to constantly talk about women as either being submissive and obedient housewives or being “meat-puppet sex toys” for men. The language he uses is steeped in misogyny.

1 day after tweeting this, I got locked out my twitter and slapped with a label for “platform manipulation.” Strange times.

Remember kids, stay in Sunday School.

It always amazes me how poorly the Christian Nationalist types are at basic biblical principles.

The Male Loneliness Epidemic might be almost entirely self-inflicted by men. Women are not here to take what is “rightfully” yours. The “trash world” is only a boogieman invented by men who lack the will to live within a world they are too scared to help change.

Christians, we cannot support this type of mockery and humiliation. Wanting legal boarder protection is one argument, but this type of gleeful insult to humanity is Christ-less.

If the American church wants to start “winning” again, it must start losing its urge to praise sinful masculinity, blame women, and insult the righteous and holy traits of Jesus.
