This one's a wild/messy one: Cyber giant F5, which serves most of the Fortune 500, said unknown government hackers had 'long term' access to its network:

• stole source code, some customer data
• accessed undisclosed vulns in BIG-IP
• DOJ allowed F5 to delay public notice citing national security

Recruiter: Why did you decide to look for a new job?
Candidate: The company rebranded “overtime” as “showing commitment.” I decided to commit somewhere else.

It never fails to amaze me how hard simple instructions can be. Boarding by group numbers sounds easy, yet the moment Group 1 is called, half the plane suddenly thinks it’s their turn too and then they’re shocked when it isn’t. 🤦‍♂️
Recruiter: Why did you quit your last role?

Candidate: My manager said, “We trust you to manage your time.” Then asked why I wasn’t online at 2 a.m.

Taylor Swift is the greatest storyteller of our time!
Isn’t it funny how the company saying their AI will replace recruiters just hired... a recruiter? 😂
Recruiter: We value transparency here.
Candidate: Great. Can we start with the salary range?

Nothing is more frustrating than running a $7/month Substack, having someone read it for 3 months, then disputing the charges with their bank. Stripe hits me with a $15 fee per claim. And Substack forces us to use Stripe with no alternative. Hate this setup. 🤬
LinkedIn is about to use your data to train AI.
Not opt-in. Opt-out. Effective Nov 3.

If you don’t change your settings → you’re free training data.
Fix it here: www.linkedin.com/mypreference...

When something is “on by default,” it’s not for your benefit.
Senior professionals don’t just appear.
They become senior through years of practice, mistakes, and experience.

If AI eliminates junior roles, we’re not just cutting entry-level jobs. We’re cutting off the very path that creates future seniors.

No juniors → no seniors.
It’s that simple.

Finding a job abroad is hard.
Finding one with visa sponsorship? Even harder.

That’s why I put together these guides to make it easier:

I wonder: what if those telling recruiters how to do their job actually had to work as recruiters?

Try it for 14 days. You’ll age 10 years, develop trust issues, and realize half the job is chasing people who don’t reply.

Recruiting looks easy. It isn’t.
Ever messaged a recruiter, only to find out they couldn’t actually help you with your request? Well, you’re not alone. Not all recruiters are the same, and knowing the difference can save you time (and frustration). Before you hit “Connect” or “Message,” make sure you’re knocking on the right door.
→ Internal recruiter = jobs in one company
→ Agency recruiter = jobs across many companies
→ Independent recruiter = personal networks and industry focus
→ Headhunter = executive and hard-to-find roles
→ Career coach = guidance and strategy
