A better bet might be to have the Portland Police detain the ICE agents who are breaking city and state law on Portland streets. I never would have thought I'd see the day when the police were the good guys in Portland but here we are.

Some people are too disabled to speak for themselves and then it is the duty of their parents to speak for them. This also applies to the intellectually disabled. Also parents have valid perspectives that need to be heard, particularly if they are juggling the needs several children.

I'm waiting for the upsurge in deaf-blind students from prenatal rubella exposure because they also aren't getting the rubella vaccine that's part of the package. Back in the 70's in college I worked as a student helper at a blind school. The deaf-blind unit was profoundly impaired rubella babies.
