So many great memories at Friends of Grant Park Art Fair—from the grandma who bought more books so her grandson wouldn't keep asking her to read the same two books of mine to a mom and a teen who stopped to share that my books were the teen's favorites as a child. Thanks to all the organizers.

Heartwarming experiences yesterday at the Jackson Park Farmers Market—a young girl who wanted a picture with me, a young reader who was reluctant to part with his book for the moment it took to get it signed, and many kids who coaxed their parents into the booth to get a closer look at the books!
