I’ve been pretty absent across all of my accounts. Life is tiring. Sickness ebbs and flows. There is no set structure. I am alive, and that’s good enough.

I decided to do what I see a lot of other printmakers doing. I’m using ink to stain the linoleum as a second step before carving. My first step is using tracing paper to transfer my pencil design onto the lino.

Using washable stamp ink to test my Zatarain's crab boil stamp. This is actually the second stamp this round that I had to make. I messed up the first one pretty bad, but I love the result we have here after getting rid of several imperfections from the test print result. it's now ready to go.

The amount of time it takes to even prep to start printing is insane. Especially because of the constant struggle of recording the process. But. In the end, I got a beautiful first print.
