I don't like much really but what I do like, I love passionately. Just like stuff like jogging, music, ice cream, TV, travel, good times. Now my parkrun thread although I do other stuff.

Beautiful parkrun morning in the park. A cloth of gold and such lovely people around this week.
Hey, parkrun golden hour in South Manchester looks a bit overcast but not going to rain. Don't forget your barcode and let's do it all again tomorrow. See you at Alex for a cool one?
Finished last at parkrun. Best feeling ever. #tailwalker
Riemer on Munich yesterday and Donaupark in Vienna this morning. The glory of parkrun, the adventures, new experiences and friendship. Perfect, I intend doing parkrun as a volunteer or runner until my dying day.
Age - 40+, Brooks or ASICS maybe Hoka shoes. Rab jacket, wristbands and parkrun apparel (which I approve of but not those swim-coat clones). Running t-shirt and/or back pack from a race in 2016. The odd world tourist or Cowell snood worn on wrist. Excited laughter and smiles are the key giveaways.
Lots of people at Manchester airport looking like they are going for a Friday parkrun. parkrunner radar on full power, ticking them off, you can just tell.
Heard that Reform and Farage want to report Irish Mammy and Nannies. If they come for them, they come for us all.
Another brilliant Junior parkrun morning. Very autumnal but rays of sunshine in every smile and giggle. 10 miles around the park after in preparation for the MCR Half.
21:58 so very pleased. Friday cheese intake increased, a proper warmup but felt a bit lost physically in the first mile. Recovered finished strong. Jumped on the funnel and was assertive according to my mate Mark. In Germany this Friday so interrupting my progress.
Sunny intervals and 0% chance of rain for the parkrun golden hour tomorrow in South Manchester. Let me know how you did and let's do it all again next week.
95 kids at our parkrun yesterday on a bright but chilli Sunday morning. It warmed up & was a lovely morning. The excitement of the juniors during the warm up and presentation of wristbands is brilliant. The sprint finishes are a joy & the whole morning is a pleasing antidote to the world around us.
Damp and slippy parkrun but I felt ace, ran well and was a bit disappointed with my time, it being slower than last week. It's all about tomorrow, the biggest run before the MCR Half. Then to try again next week. Alex Park for consistency or a bit of a trip? Okay with today's time though. #parkrun
It's going to be a bit wet for parkrun golden hour in South Manchester. Bring a bigger boat.
Saw one of our regular juniors yesterday at parkrun. Started with his Mum & sprinted to the finish without Mum. Was on the funnel & the way he listened to instructions, stayed in order & was polite, was a real credit to him, his family & junior parkrun. Freedom to run, creating courteous runners.
Anything the adult parkrunners can do, the juniors can do too. Attendance record at our junior parkrun today, hot on the heels of the big numbers at Alex Park recently. The future's about the juniors.
Brilliant morning in Alex Park. 22:14 with half mile warm up. Fish and chips for tea which left me feeling heavy and undernourished. But parkrun makes it right and chatting to people before and after was just lovely today. Massive numbers, double funnel working brilliantly and jumped on to help.
Not done one of these for a while due to work and travel. The parkrun golden hour looks like it will be lovely and bright in South Manchester. Hopefully, parkrun #490 tomorrow, which I never thought would happen.

Sunday, for junior parkrun, hopefully similar weather. What a time to be alive?
Forgot to mention, I got a first in age finish at Mauerweg parkrun on Saturday.
parkrun golden hour weather for tomorrow. Warm.

Alex Park off. South Manchester's 700th.

Exactly, it's the joy and the chance to give junior parkrunners social time, a brilliant non-competitive environment to get active. 'Podcaster'-type, expert commentator on all things parkrun made the comment.
Whilst getting the wristbands ready for junior parkrun, one of the participants saw the 100 & started chatting. I told her I was nearly 100 years old to which she replied, "You're not even 60 yet". I asked how she knew & her Mum said she loves checking people's results & tracking people she knows.
Brilliant parkrun weekend. Managed 22:22, a surprise because I feel a bit undercooked at the moment. Had to grab the key for junior so decided to jump on scanning until the last runner. Someone, dropped in about me approaching 500 vols & "but you do junior" in that tone. Don't know if they get it.
Looks like the parkrun golden hour will be wetter than in previous weeks but you never know.

Been a bit quiet of late due to work and travel of late. Normal service resumed.
