My bad. Per the IRS, the Hughes Advocacy Foundation dba Patriot Freedom Project was granted tax exempt status, effective in Aug 2021, not Nov 2021. I believe it was registered in NJ, DC & North Dakota (?!) as the Hughes Foundation...

Here's one of my ideas on how to make civics more interesting to the youngsters. Forget the sappy I'm Just a Bill, show how a bill really gets passed. My first episode would be on Honest Graft vs Dishonest Graft w real life examples.

This was in connection w my proposed solution to food deserts after reading a devastating report in the New Yorker on dollar stores. During the pandemic, the Dollar Store jacked up its prices 25% from $1 to $1.25. Big deal if you're on a very limited budget.

By claiming he only joined the Hughes Advocacy Foundation dba Patriot Freedom Project in June 2023, Ed Martin neatly (or not so neatly) skirted the problematic $270k prior period adjustment in 2022.

Curious too what comprised the $60k in income from the Ed Martin Law Firm PLLC. eg how much did the Polish Foundation pay him & were any legal fees from the J6 defendants he "represented" or from third parties included in the $60k (see previous post).

Took another look at Ed Martin's April 3 2025 OGE report. As I've already noted, Martin reported earning $42k from the Eagle Forum Education & Legal Defense Fund in the report but I'm not sure what period that covered. In 2023, the Fund paid Martin $196k...
