Reading a book at the moment where there's a pill someone can take to make their skin fatally poisonous. I think I'd go down that route; maybe it's a mech for fighting hostile biological monstrosities, so having pores and exuding poison would be a good thing.

That sounds about right (reassuring me I got it right enough anyways).

I like the idea of it standing by in a low-toxicity mode when a young mechanic walks by and has an impulsive thought.

I keep just drawing robots -with- swords, but I want to do something different to that, and have only just settled on an idea that should be... big enough.

As for "portal" what I've got is more of a concept than an image :/

Side notes: I'm quite enjoying jumbo-size glove hands ATM, as well as big conical studs on oversize vambraces.

Doing challenges frequently leads me to play with more comical, or fun, designs than usual.

I guess I put a fair few "bio" elements in my designs anyway so, for this one, I just turned them up a little bit; more teeth, tongue body, and a pumpkin colour-scheme to appear suitably spoopy.

It's not quite uniform in as much as it is artificially grown, and unpainted, bone; so all the mechanical components can be housed on a chasis that's purpose-grown to accomodate them (like biomech 3d printing I guess).

It totally -has- to fire on the move :D It doesn't need to be successful (not seeing the wood for the trees seems to be a motif for a lot of experimental projects).
