What is considered a clean energy stock and it is really clean? Also, how much is tied to the AI trade with its insane power demand? If nuclear is considered clean then much of clean energy performance could be tied to the AI bubble. Not to be a downer but to be realistic.
That’s a bad take. He’s got plenty of data and figures to back up what he is saying. The best skeptic is OpenAI themselves though. 5% paid conversions. Sexting. Truly non-sensical ads (2 guys with phone peering into open car hood - wtf?). If it’s everything it’s nothing.
Chewy does not use AI. I now buy all my pet needs from them specifically because of this. I had a return of a prescription food and it was pleasant and seamless. Speaking to a real person was a delight.
The first mistake is thinking there is any renown legacy media. They are all just billionaire owned PR machines at this point. WSJ, NYT, WaPo, La Times might as well be the National Enquirer. They may have a real journalist but they probably can’t write anything that goes against the narrative.
That’s the rub though. If you limit usage to a profitable cost you’ll have zero customers because you either or too limited or the costs are too high. AI isn’t a business model that can ever work.
I saw an ad for that in LA and had no idea what it was. The ads for ChatGPT here on digital billboards are so bad and shows they don’t even know what it’s for.
The media doesn’t push back on any of it. I heard an interview on how AI will make construction projects faster by closing info gaps in docs. Like no it won’t because it literally can’t. I’m just waiting for Sam to say they are building a dyson sphere and the media eat it up.

Let me get this right. The admin sold buildings to fire federal employees to “save” money. Now they buy buildings to claim federal property to do more policing? But we can’t get health care or fund social security?
Skeptics? What about math? How does a company losing billions every year come up with the *checks calculator* about $1 trillion in contract obligations? Why not ask where this mythical money is coming from? The hardware project? The social network? The dartboard looking for revenue?
Who is financing all the data center construction and GPU costs? Since GPUs and contracts are used as collateral for these loans from the likes of Coreweave I could argue it is a systemic risk already. OpenAI can’t pay for contracts that are being used for loans because look future revenue!

I think I finally get it. To him AI seems smart because he’s so insulated that he also has no idea what a human is. If your circle is Musk, Thiel, etc. you wouldn’t have any clue what an intelligent human is and the cluster of GPUs sound like a god. He looks perpetually confused.
He needs the time to spend with Copilot which I thought he said was doing his work for him already. Has to improve his prompt skills and maybe run some agents and MCPs.

And OpenAI released a paper saying how good it is at real work. Written by and confirmed by OpenAI. I’m sure their new GDPVal tool is just like their benchmarks and totally true.
You’ve been saying this for a while. Anyone with any sense and understanding of technology knows you don’t just magically create great chips. Ask AMD. Besides CUDA is the real beast for NVidia. I would short the hell out of these stocks if they didn’t trade like meme coins.
That a little while longer is very ominous. Like everyone is already in on the bubble bursting and just keep on riding it until they can pass the losses to someone else.
