I was referred nearly a year ago for C-PTSD therapy (for SA), received nothing until today where they've randomly decided to give me SSRIs... 🙄

Between my railcard and delay repay, this train will cost 1/3 of the ticket price.

(It should be this price anyway, but that is a different problem)

Everybody knows the HTTP `Referer` header is misspelled.

Annoyingly the HTTP `Referrer-Policy` header is spelled correctly...

I had no idea shock collars weren't illegal in the UK.

Instead of banning them now, we should expand their use to noisy children.

Not bad, particularly as it's significantly cheaper than Virgin's 250/50!

FWIW Jenkins is actually fine.

It's not _cool_, it's UI is awful, but I have always seen it just kinda work.
GitHub Actions charging per build minute for *self-hosted-runners*? Shit's about to hit the fan lol

Wait, so people running a variant of a frontend framework are somehow exposing their backends to remote code execution... 😂😂😂

Meanwhile my backend app, sorry, "server-side rendering" app has no issue...

I don't understand Discord, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.

Yes I did import proper Christmas lights from China as fuck LEDs they don’t look right…

Absolutely love losing my pension salary sacrifice to help fund an above-inflation rises for pensioners, who more than likely used the same salary sacrifice benefit for their own pensions...

Yet more generational wealth transfer. Each budget I get closer to leaving the UK.

Wow the BBC just aired a piece that was reasonable about ADHD, treated it like an actual mental health condition.

I’m so used to it being treated like it doesn’t exist.

No doubt the Daily Mail still has an opinion for some reason… 🙄

It appears DHL is legitimately using WhatsApp for delivery notifications now, I cannot see how that would be abused at all, cold-sending notifications with links...

Musk calling Scottish people Hobbits like that's a bad thing...

Now when is second breakfast?

There needs to be some kind of cable swap service.

Every other year I need an HDMI-to-DisplayPort or something random, and every time I SWEAR I already have one and grudge buying another one.

"Andrew won't be tax-payer funded"...

said by people who don't understand the Sovereign Grant comes from The Crown, the same Crown you pay your taxes to...

Yes it has it's own assets, but they belong to the state (The Crown), not Charlie.

I'd look at who is currently shorting the UK economy, hoping for a sudden chancellor change before the budget.

That is who "suddenly" revealed Rachel Reeves made a mistake and is pushing the story hard.

Does Virgin Media do maintenance at 11PM?

Like clockwork, my internet will disconnect at 11PM.

It's been rock solid for over 4 years, last six months it disconnects every other night, granted I only use their box as a modem feeding into my UniFi setup.

I hate Oxford Street.

Can’t wait for it to be pedestrianized, more opportunity to be walked into by people staring at their fondleslabs.

Walked into the kitchen and thought: did the power go out and I didn't notice, all the clocks are at 00:00?

Midnight. It's midnight. 🤦

I should go to bed.

Never noticed this on the Waterloo & City line platforms before (mostly because I never use the W&C).

I remember when Netflix would pay you if you could develop a better recommendation algorithm.

Now all it can do is recommend things it knows I've already watched.

Right up there with Amazon's "We see you've just bought X, would you like to buy X."

Wow I was never actually able to get this stuff to work when I initially played around with this stuff years ago.
