He lives in Monaco? While Tice lives in Dubai! Farage is often out of the country. None of them are around much to represent their constituents, the people who voted for them. We can only hope these people see the light before the next election.
This is beyond their control because...? Couldn't they just take the flags down? No doubt they were hoisted illegally on public property without permission from the landowner anyway, the local authority? Send the workforce out to install the decorations and while they're up there, remove the flags.
This is all about ideology, and many years of evidence of safety is ignored. Meanwhile we read children as young as 9 are being given weight-loss injections without any evidence of their safety in under-18s, & without the years of data that exist for hormone prescriptions. Political ideology.
Good news is never what people want to read. That's why the news cycle is dominated by depressing & negative events & stories of things that have gone wrong.
There's another one every week, which led me to conclude that Reform attracts the sort of people who can't be trusted with a pencil sharpener, let alone to run a council, & even more unlikely, to run a country. If they win the next election we can expect weekly MP resignations, suspensions, etc
Same with climate change deniers, who for a long time were given the same airtime on the BBC as the climate scientists who'd spent decades working on the subject and could present evidence of it in action. Listeners could have been forgiven for thinking it was an equally-weighted debate.
Jaywick MP Nigel Farage said he believed he'd "definitely helped" tourism in the area by "having a high-profile MP helping to put Clacton on the map". Deluded self-serving grifter who's done nothing for his constituents. I hope Jaywick residents see this & realise voting for him was a disaster.
With the local authorities reorganisation there'll be far fewer councillors, & so far fewer councillor objections to overcome. It will be easier for developers to get their plans approved by councillors who don't know the large areas so well. It's all part of Labour's plan to build build build.
