I became so embarassingly obsessed with the Heartstopper series that I co-founded a queer and trans library (@qtlibrary.org) because I wanted to become the gay librarian at a gay library so that I could share it with the world 🌈📚

I'm going to be helping run a plant-themed game night for @qtlibrary.org at Pandemonium in Cambridge for our "From Seed to Shelf" fundraiser on December 13. Possible games include Photosynthesis, Takenoko, Verdant, Botany, and Genotype. (Who doesn't love a game about Mendelian genetics?) Come join!

We can mitigate the harm of book bans by bringing those books into impacted communities in ways & spaces beyond the control of the book banners. Carabiner Collections is doing that work in Brazos County, TX. Maybe you can set something like that up in your neck of the woods.
