Oleander is not a large dog. He weighs 25 lbs. So how is it he takes up the entire bed all night and the entire sofa all day?

I wish Tim Curry was on this app so I could just thank him for existing. But I don't wish it enough to get on the other app.

It's really jarring, watching Andor, how the only people of color are bad guys or addicts.

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

My heart is broken, but I'm incredibly grateful to have had him help shape me as a person.
ASA mourns the sudden loss of former President Michael Burawoy, who died tragically in Oakland, CA, on February 3. Burawoy received the ASA Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award and W.E.B. Du Bois Career of Distinguished Scholarship Award. His will be greatly missed.

Frikkin @npr.org couldn't seem to find a woman to interview about this women winning the Nobel for highlighting how men are treated with more professional respect. Like, seriously. Why in the world would you have a man cover that story by interviewing another man? They have no sense of irony.

Ever been so tired you almost pulled a quote from the paper you're working on to quote in the same paper you're working on?
I mean, I get citing yourself. But, you know, you can't cite the paper you're presently working on, can you?
