Life will go on in Metsville but I really have to wonder how this will play out at Citi come Opening Day. Barring a blockbuster trade for a superstar, there's not much exciting out there among FAs.
It may make for a quiet stadium for awhile unless they get off to a strong start. #Mets

I've been a #Mets all of my life - and theirs too.
Of course I'll be back at it come April (or is it March now?). And I'll be losing my mind when we (if we) ever make it back to the WS.

I've been a #Mets all of my life - and theirs too.
Of course I'll be back at it come April (or is it March now?). And I'll be losing my mind when we (if we) ever make it back to the WS.

Now that Diaz has walked away, I would think teams are ready to pounce on Pete knowing that the #Mets won't give the man more than 3 years. Pete will end up leaving for a year, like Diaz leaving over $3M.
