My only quibble on the pitchers is that I would have had Bassitt go for the 8th too, then Hoffman for 9 and 10 instead of 8 and 9. What’s the point of having a starter in the pen if you aren’t going to give him multiple innings?

The Jays actually did a pretty good job of getting Yamamoto’s pitch count up in the first inning (pretty sure it was over 20), but just weren’t able to repeat it.

Heck I was more upset after game 5 of the Seattle series as that seemed self-inflicted. This was just Yamamoto pitching his ass off. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap and move on.

I’m on the Collingwood now. I prefer the double-barreled brown label over the single-barreled black label. A lot smoother.
