My latest article @filmobsessive.com looks back at RACE WITH THE DEVIL... a fun fright flick from 1975 that should maybe be on your watch list this scary season... this cult classic never feared blending genres into one fun ride. #horror

Race with the Devil Still Delivers Delight
RACE WITH THE DEVIL remains a cult classic fifty years after its release because it never feared to blend multiple genres into one fun ride.

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.

This is an age old BS Republican line going back to the 80s... they make changes (deregulation, social welfare cuts, tax credit erases, etc.) which make something unaffordable then blame struggling people for not having enough money to pay for how they're getting screwed.
Comer: "We care about the people that are gonna lose -- ah, that could potentially lose healthcare. But there are people that can't afford healthcare. We've gotta get people off Medicaid and into the workforce and into private healthcare."
"Tavern" by Netherwalker has one of the best alright-lemme-see-where-this-is-going openings... and it doesn't hurt the song explodes into solid deathcore.
