Big and very exciting news! We will soon have a long-term project in Munich @badw.de on the Jewish and Christian Arabic translations of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament #ArabicBible. Not only a wonderful topic, but the funding will enable otherwise impossible in-depth exploration.

We have big news to share: Our head Prof Ronny Vollandt, together with Prof Nathan Gibson (Frankfurt), will receive funding for a 21-year long-term project on Arabic translations of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. It will be based at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and the Academy in Mainz.
