Today’s joy, CW food: successful food experiment, putting my classic low-ingredient banana pancakes into a dish in the oven produces a DELIGHTFUL baked pancake with good texture. Might try freezing a couple of pieces to see if they hold up for making ahead of time.

My work colleagues all talking about using ai for various incredibly stupid things that would be much funnier or more meaningful if they badly ms paint or photoshop an image their own selves, and I simply cannot fix my face into a neutral position while they talk about it!!!!!!

What we are going to do is say “yay jabs, you washed the cleaning cloths you use to clean the inside of your musical instrument! What a good job you did with that task!” and what we are NOT going to do is ask why it took me so damn long to do it, OR how long it had been since the last time.

A moment of joy: I put up some xmas lights outside of my window so I can see them and they can make me happy, and as I was putting them up around a tree the neighbourhood siamese kitten came to investigate and attack the tangled lights and get scritches.

Absolute waste of an entire day: woken up in migraine agony at 4:45am, took my meds, slept until 2pm to try to beat it, still had a headache too bad to function, spent the whole time between 2 and now napping and eating enough to take painkillers. Head still hurts.
