Women’s Action for Voice and Empowerment (WAVE) is a ground-breaking women’s leadership program, bringing together 18 women’s rights organisations across five countries in Asia and the Pacific - not just to support individual leaders, but to build lasting, collective power.

In Timor-Leste’s Covalima district, Covalima Community Centre (CCC) is creating space for women to lead. Behind the scenes, the partnership between CCC and IWDA is more than just collaboration,but a source of pride, empowerment and lasting impact.
In 2010, IWDA launched Triple Jeopardy, a world-leading intersectional research project placed a spotlight on violence against women with disabilities in Cambodia. Led by women with lived experience of disability as researchers, it breaks new ground in both method and impact.
For the past 12 years, Voice for Change (VfC) and IWDA have built a very special partnership. Since 2013, we have seen VfC grow in its influence, bringing the voices of women in their communities to the regional and global stage.
