My dad died yesterday.

I thank God I made it home in enough time from the WNBA Finals to see him, but I’m heartbroken.

My heart is so heavy today. I love you, dad.

I asked Alyssa Thomas what she said to the Mercury in the locker room:

“Super proud of how we fought … no one even expected us to be even be here.”

Says she never played in a game like tonight’s game, but was proud of the team.
