I love watching historic farm documentaries. We’ve lost so much knowledge. We got to have a go with some seed cleaning machines last week. They haven’t changed that much over the years. It’s was a lot of fun. A little work, but fun.

GMO seed is failing. It was an eye opening conversation. I knew about what a disaster it’s been for farmers in India. We aren’t smarter than nature. Nature will find away over whatever fence with throw up. That’s a lesson we never learn.

My wife and I founded our community seed bank and have spent the last two years talking to farmers and seed growers and learning about seed politics. They will want to use GMO seed. Something I learned the other day from a seed grower who’s been in the business for years in two continents is 1/

There’s also the little matter if Netanyahu’s pending trial which can proceed now that a ceasefire has been signed. Any document with his name or Trump’s on it isn’t worth a damn. Bibi will manufacture a reason to start bombing again.

Indeed they are and he has this insane idea that they can mechanize every thing so they won’t need labour. There are fruits and veg that have to be hand picked. There’s also the little matter of buying all the equipment they’d need which cost a fortune + tariffs. I’ve been in boardrooms with guys

Shouldn’t they be wanting Joe Biden to win it? After all it was a framework his administration came up with that the two sides signed. Trump and Netanyahu pushing it off a year so Biden wouldn’t get a win doesn’t change that. A lot of people died needlessly because of what those two did for politics

That’s optimistic. It’ll take either a huge crop failure in Argentina or more likely the U.S. all but giving away the crops and compensating farmers.

That’s actually common. When they introduce a leader doing a speech at the U.N. They use it. When PM Mark Carney spoke recently he was introduced as HE Prime Minister…
I find that title offensive myself and in his shoes would have insisted they not use it in the introduction. 1/

In Egypt he kept referring to our Prime Minister as “President Carney.” He’s too damned old, frail and mentally unstable for the job. It’s only because there is no obvious replacement that they haven’t pushed him out. Vance is a lightweight, the knives will be out for him if Trump takes his leave.
