We gotta put this woman in places where people arent as chill. She got spoiled by the Lifprasir archivists being nice. Get weird with it. Also kill your son but that's unrelated and not desirable.
Shocking development - an Isaac character is nice?!
But y'know, I suppose the fact she *had* an alternative objective speaks to that change in priority, so. Like other than threatening Tarrare as a sort of necessity of the interrogation she hasn't Gone For It. So that's neat I guess. Does just make her a nice person lmao
Though I say that, I don't think Lynette has actually injured anyone since she killed Laud Rassant. So. Y'know. Maybe we have a point. Now tbf this is a low-combat game but there *have* been combats, she's just either not been present or has had an alternate objective
Lynette's arc appears to be, at present, growing out of the violence of where she was raised. Old dog, learning new tricks, and getting to grieve in some new and fascinating ways. Which is cool I guess but it's not a huge change because it's not like she can't still stab a fucker if she has to
Probably the thing of why my characters can otherwise struggle with arcs is I am a fairly low-conflict person. I like being ~chill~. Calvyre was explicitly built to be a conflict free zone, which was a Choice. Devin might've gotten an arc but we can't know lmao
Naielle learns to take responsibility, to be brave in the face of her fear, and to actually work to make things better. Both plot wise, and in terms of fixing her relationship with her sister. It's similar, but not identical.
Florian becomes a leader and also gains *agency*. He stops being a sword wielded by his employees and becomes, on some level, his own dude. For better and for worse, since having agency also makes him responsible for what happens (Zeke, the Phoenix, the Wartand debacle)
"what about Naielle" that was literally just my arc irl. "What about Florian" basically ditto dude. Like both of them do have something approaching arcs and they're largely because I went from being nervous and anxious to confident at the table. And they manifest that arc differently
Got asked what I wanted my ttrpg characters arc to be and in the reflection on that I'm like man. I'm not good at those, huh
dya reckon they had to edit out some anachronisms in this big sweeping drone shot at the end. film outside of tourist season to avoid cruise ships
that was very neat and tidy. i enjoyed the horror energy of it.
pushign the tea cup onto the table was very cute
something very sweet about him saying he'll see his dad soon. since their relationship was very sweet that one got me.
a very neat and tidy one, this. i did also love the housekeeper throughout, smth about her energy was familiar (despite not having seen her before) and just like. kind.
i do like the bodyguard. he seems generally nice. like yeah he got involved with the authors bullshit but hes like. Chill. and did deck a guy directly into the canal which was extremely funny
anyway that was a real ghost right like two people reacted to that
ive never fallen like 4 stories into the stormy canals of venice but i think that probably would not immediately take me the fuck out. i think id struggle a tiny bit longer. same conclusion since i cant swin but like, yknow
oh he was drugged again. well at least this time it didnt give me the like, bottom falling out moment like last time, so alright
i hate the writer actually, she sucks
everyone letting the fact the two assistants are running around slide by because there is a dead body here which is - pretty rough. id probably ignore that for a hot second
"im very worried about you" oliver he threatened to off himself like an hour ago
i like the dad and his son honestly. they seem lovely
enjoying the camera attached to poirots head. fun camera angle.
