Last night, I received notification of the 19th death of a detained person in ICE custody since Trump took office.

ICE is detaining people, mostly in private, for-profit prisons that put profit over health. And now they have furloughed the safety inspectors. This is unacceptable.

Today I heard a man in a shop confidently telling the women who worked there that:

1) there are no atoms in the water;
2) nonprofits don’t have to pay property tax, therefore if you don’t use your home for profit, then you don’t need to pay property tax.

I hope someone is keeping track of all these Hatch Act violations so that when the balance of Congress changes there will be consequences.

Assuming, you know, we ever have meaningful elections again. They still haven’t seated my congressional rep, last I looked.

They’re all putting their lives’ work on pause because the GOP won’t support healthcare for poor people.

I’ve seen the video of the ICE officer tackling a woman & taking her to the ground for no reason that’s been circling.

It’s awful, unjustified & unacceptable.

It’s also how I’ve seen many, many civilians treated by law enforcement on body camera for many years.

In fact, it’s often much worse.
