U.S. plans to ask short term visitors eligible for visa waivers to disclose 5 years of social media history, plus extensive information about their family and more. Similar requirements have previously been applied to other visa categories!

The proposal would affect travelers from countries on the visa waiver program, including Australia, Britain, France, Germany, Israel, Japan and South Korea.
