That would probably be a good idea! Generally you can expect people will look at a letter if one is provided but just in case, it’s good to have things in the signup. That’s less for my convenience as for your gifter. And no rush, as long as it’s good to go by signup close there won’t be any issues.

It would also be helpful to me if you put the basics/most important DNWs and want-to-creates in the text of your offer on AO3—it’s just easier to do the matching if I don’t need to open a second window to get a basic vibe check.

Excited to be doing it! I looked at your signup and I definitely don’t think I’ll have any issues matching your prompts to a gifter! However it looks like your offer letter isn’t shared/viewable by the public so you’ll need to adjust those settings.

There are a lot of cool museums here, definitely check some of those out if you never have. If you like clubbing or bars, you just have to get into town to visit Byward or Elgin Street—not really my thing anymore, but it can get busy! Also last I checked we have three different kink clubs in town.

As far as cool stuff to do in Ottawa: it is harder out in the suburbs for sure, but that's also true of basically any big city. I go to a lot of art markets and community events, some theatre productions, some bar concerts. I recommend seeing if there's a group for your neighbourhood on facebook.

There's also a very beautiful traditional Chinese garden there in the Chinatown area, and a huge number of specialty Chinese shops, restaurants, and museums. And here are some pictures of the part of Vancouver my great-aunt lives in—you can maybe see why this was my immediate choice for the Lan!

Downtown Vancouver is very vibrant and upbeat, but that's true of just about any downtown in a larger city if you're there at the right time. There are also a lot of areas within the city limits that are very given over to parkland or even forest, and there's a long history of Chinese immigration.

I design my guardians based on who my PC would be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt. For Isabeau, their mentor. For Cynbel (deeply amnesiac), a gith to oppose the illithid. For Tyloch, a woman he finds attractive. For Alyonne, an authoritative older woman.

He’s the guy the Emperor pulled from their memories to impersonate! A paladin from their order who was in a leadership/training role when Isabeau started their training and who took them on as a kind of apprentice. His name is Tancred, he’s a half-orc.

It’s not A Skill (D&D definition) but something that emerged through their play style. They tend to trick or persuade their way into basically every enemy location and maintain that cover (for information and to save people) until the point where they go “actually I was here to stop you all along.”

Stats-wise it pulls more from native charisma than the bluff or performance skills. I think of it less as “they’ve been taught how to Lie, Specifically” and more as a honing of their natural diplomacy to identify what people want and meet them where they are so as to carry out their oath.
