We have all seen them. Driving up the motorway, crossing a roundabout in town, suddenly there it is: the Union Jack, or the red-and-white St George’s Cross.

The wonderful power of @lyfta.bsky.social
I love our cultural capital curriculum
We really value Lyfta Time.

I could quote so many examples that have given me goosebumps, brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat or just made me gasp a bit!

Thanks to the recent court ruling, trans people who 'pass' too well can be legally barred from using either the male or female toilets.
Today, Liverpool Quakers discerned that our main toilets will now be gender neutral. (Single-gender toilets will still be available on the second floor).

Great day at ResearchEd Warrington. Their students were impeccably behaved and brimmed with confidence. The speakers that I visited were all fascinating and I have many ideas jotted down to explore further.

Was great to see @scottpughsley.bsky.social and his session too 🌟

I can’t find the words at the moment. It was only a few weeks ago that we were putting the world to rights and planning on applying for the Edge Hill Summer School to get our regular RE geek on. I’m utterly grateful for Dawn’s friendship and will really miss the mischief and laughter 💔

Totally agree with Nikki on every single word. Dawn is an inspiration, a guide and a wonderful friend.

Following discussions today, it is clear that one of the biggest potential (and current) impacts on RE is trust leads.

There are more & more trusts creating this role. Having an individual that knows schools, colleagues & students well AND having subject expertise is key.
