Never start a project without securing an upfront payment. A deposit of 20%-50% shows the client is serious and protects you from unpaid work. It also ensures both parties are equally committed to the project.

I’m basically stuck paying Webflow $60 a month forever because I have 124 unhosted sites, and I’d have to delete them all if I wanted to downgrade my account. Nice move 👌

I like to rotate my subscriptions, like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and so on. I don’t watch enough TV to justify subscribing to all of them, so I pick one service and switch it every month or so. Don’t pay for stuff you’re not using.

Life tip: Never reveal your real budget, and if possible, avoid sharing it altogether. When others know exactly what you’re working with, it limits your flexibility and can put you at a disadvantage. Keeping your budget private allows you to negotiate more effectively and stay in control.
