I think we need another grumpy, angry Doctor a la Capaldi so Laurie would absolutely suit the bill.

I have been screaming for years to get Alan Cumming as the Doctor. Think he would absolutely boss it.

Whatever they do, if they want to keep the show going, they need a big name to take it forward.
