It's racism. It's fascism. Senator, fight with all you have!
We just heard from a Chicagoan who called it like it is.

ICE is profiling and arresting Americans, just because of how they look and the language they speak.

It’s totally inappropriate.
Trump has sent troops + ICE to Chicagoland to terrorize immigrant families & Black citizens, attack protesters & journalists, assault elected leaders & clergy.

We are horrified to learn of the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Political violence has no place in democracy. The foundation of democracy rests on the principle that differences can be debated vigorously, but peacefully, without intimidation or acts of violence.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas were informed of their freedom.

We are committed to confronting systemic racism, protecting voting rights, and building a democracy where every voice is heard and every person is free.

Trump is considering suspending habeas corpus — a core constitutional right — just because he doesn’t like losing in court. That’s not national security. It’s authoritarianism.

We must resist.

The WH says Trump is considering suspending habeas corpus. What would that mean?
The move to expel migrants would curtail a constitutional right to due process.
