The Trump administration is coercing and intimidating judges and prosecutors. They have installed heads of agencies and departments like the Attorney General, heads of FBI and DOJ that act based on political persuasion rather than laws and appropriate procedures. They are actively going after Trump's enemies on trumped up charges with NO evidence to back them up.

Let's make an effort this week to flood his office phone lines with personal calls demanding action against these three issues: 1. The UNCONSTITUTIONAL OVERREACH by the Trump administration through ICE and military deployment in our communities; 2. The LIES he and the GOP are spreading regarding federal health benefits being allowed for undocumented migrants; 3. The July CUTS to Medicaid and safety net programs under the Big Ugly Bill and the current effort to cut subsidies for people who rely on the ACA for health insurance. For each of the above themes, here are scripts you can work from when you call and speak to his office staff: a. Trump and his administration are working overtime to cause confusion and provoke violence in states and communities. Ask Tony Wied to call out Trump for lying about the overwhelmingly peaceful protests in communities he is his illegally invading. He is even mentioning invoking the INSURRECTION ACT! b. Tony Wied is lying about giving undocumented migrants federal healthcare benefits. Ask him to provide the evidence. Since providing federal benefits to undocumented people has been illegal since 1996, tell him to provide evidence for his statements. c. Tony Wied supported the Big Ugly Bill and Republican efforts to cut ACA subsidies which is causing unaffordable spikes in health care and health insurance costs for people all over NE Wisconsin right now.
