But Larry Ellison didn’t just talk about models.
He showed how Oracle is using them internally.

“A lot of the code Oracle is writing, Oracle isn’t writing. We tell the model what we want, it generates the steps.”

So, every new app is by design stateless, scalable, secure.

Now, most of the world’s valuable data is already in Oracle databases. We just had to change the database so that models can reason on it.

That's why (in partnership with OpenAI) Oracle is building the world’s largest data center in Texas to power the next gen multimodal models.

Ellison’s core pitch: “People want privacy. They also want reasoning on private data. We had to solve both.”

Hence the Oracle AI Database, which can connect any model (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) via vectorization + RAG-like methods.

Elisson framed AI evolution in two phases:

Phase 1 (where we are): training massive models like GPT, Gemini, Grok.
Phase 2 (the real shift): making those models solve new problems, reasoning over data we couldn’t before.

And Oracle is betting hard on Phase 2...
