While I was running errands tonight, I noticed I was following a car without lights on. So I flashed mine. They then turned theirs on!!!!!
That has never happened before. I have never felt so seen in my entire 41 years. I’ll be on this high for the rest of the week.

Poor Gavin Newsom. He’s done so much and yet suddenly Mark Kelly is the leading presidential candidate for the Democratic party. He’s also much easier to unify around: astronaut, combat vet, faithful husband, very well-liked. Good job, Trump!

I’ve been overweight or obese most of my life. I’ve had people mock me for it, both to my face and online. So that doesn’t bother me. But you know what really, really bugs me? The fact that no other journalist in the room called out President Trash for saying that to a woman just doing her job.

I think I’m the only person who missed the Northern Lights in Colorado last night. But I was out exercising instead and found Prada shoes for $8 in my (new) shoe size, so I’m going to be OK. 😅

So I started Mounjaro in October 2022. I weighed 297 pounds at my highest and my A1C was 7.3. This morning, I weighed in at 146 pounds and my A1C was 4.9. I’ve been on this a while and I’ve learned some things. This is what I wish I knew when I first started.

I had my left knee replaced December 2024 and manipulated this past February. It has not been an easy recovery. Harder than anyone expected, actually. A perfect knee is -10 (straight) and 140 (bent). My surgical team was pleased when they got me to +4 and 120ish.
