Polar bears will kill you always. They're the only bear here that sees humans as prey. So say good night.
Kind of a morbid joke 😅
I carry bear spray with me when I go backcountry camping. Canada is so big and mostly uninhabitable that most people live very far from bears.
Bear alerts 😱 Are they aggressive?
We have brown and black bears in Canada. There's a saying: Brown, lie down. Black, fight back. White, good night.

Brown bears will leave you alone if you play dead, otherwise they will attack. Black bears will run away if you make a lot of noise. And white...
The English-speaking Vasio fans from outside Japan are going crazy about movie rumours.
The contrast between the light and shadow makes the red wood appear to glow, like hot embers in a roaring fire 🔥
Have you been? ⛰️

I didn't find the crows aggressive at all, just bold 😄 They get a lot closer to humans than North American crows do.
Wow 👀 😲 That's so pretty, especially with the golden lighting ✨
I remember i was surprised that the crows sound like the crows in Demon Slayer. I thought it was a fictional sound effect, because the crows in North America don't sound like that at all.
It was very sweet. Way way too sweet. I couldn't eat it.
Let's try a Neapolitan flavoured chocolate, Norushima-san.

It's such a betrayal :( although there were clues in her writing, like how she treats HRMN's outrage at the elves' slavery as something to be mocked. It aligns with her general view of social justice efforts.
Same here, her books made children feel seen, especially children who felt marginalized or othered... And now she's doing exactly that, marginalizing and othering people, including queer youth.
It's autumn, Norushima-san 🍂🍁

Even though it's 27° (29° with the humidity).... it's 10° above the usual average temperature for October in Southern Ontario
There was a documentary about Indigenous youth living in Quebec, Canada. It showed some of them setting up snares, and they took photos of them to remember their locations. It made me think of Asirpa. If she lived in modern times, she would probably take lots of pictures of her hunting.
I put fungus in it because i had a lot of leftovers.
I made zaru udon for lunch today 😊 I made kombu soup base from dried kelp.
It's impolite to make slurping noises in the West, so it's difficult to eat in front of my coworkers 🥲
Leopard and lynx animal cookies 😊
Norushima-san getting petted before bed.

🔊Has sound 🔊
Yesterday, I drove behind a scuba-diving cat.
I bought new jewelry for Norushima-san 😊
It's a handmade bracelet I bought at an art festival.

Norushima-san, your hood looks so dirty in that picture 🫣 I will need to give you a good bath .
Norushima-san is snack-sized.
I've noticed that when I take Norushima-san shopping with me, I tend to buy more rice-based products.

There are no mountains where I live, so I was amazed by the Nakasendo trail! 🤩 Even the bus ride to Nagiso Station was so beautiful!
I really want to visit Japan again someday! ♥️
