green eyes roll as she listens. she's heard this very sentiment a number of times of late, from a variety of teammates.

"careful, taskmaster, or i'll start to think you've grown fond of me."

she isn't sure how to react to the prospect of others actually caring about her wellbeing and it shows.

lips purse, a tight, thin line.

"there are many things that almost killed me; that should have. yet here i am."

she knows that a few centimeters and she may not be sitting here stitching her own leg.

when the gauze doesn't land in her hand, a huff escapes as she twists to glower at the other.

"i got the job done, didn't i? that's all that matters. now, give me the bloody bandage, toni."

she's a little snippier than usual, a result of the pain coursing through her system.

tying off the stitches, thread is cut short and needle dropped on the counter before hand extends behind her, fingers curling in a gesture for the other to toss the gauze to her.

quietly stitching the wound on her thigh.
