Someone in some other thread was saying people join ICE because they have no other way to feed their family.

Well, things like this show how fake that horseshit is. They join ICE because they're evil sadists (who abuse their families at home, I can guarantee).

Lots of people have raised families in poverty without becoming violent thugs. Anyone who joins ICE, for ANY reason, has no soul and no capacity for human kindness.

And I hope they suffer immensely when good people finally regain the government.

MAGAs voted for a man who promised to ruin their lives, but also to hurt immigrants and trans people. They couldn't wait to sign their futures away by voting for him.

They're happy to work for free. They're being paid in the tears of their victims.

This gets out by word of mouth. MAGA owns all the media, including social media (except for places like Bluesky where we're all left/libs talking to each other).

But they can't stop us from talking to our neighbours. That's what it's going to take, and no one will do it for us.

Trump and MAGA banking on the troops being like their drooling supporters - so twisted with hate for immigrants and LGBT+ folks, they'll willingly starve to make them suffer. I sincerely hope the military is better than that.

Even if this guy is right, it would make Fetterman a coward with no principles except himself, and totally unworthy of being in the Congress that'll rebuild the country in 2029.

Though it's somehow still better than the truth, which is that he was a lying Republican the entire time.

MAGAs can't be debated, because they don't care about facts. They need a good dose of reconstruction, with lots of fences to prevent them from being able to hurt good people.

I want to think like this. But ICE simply has to be restrained. As 2020 and 2024 showed, if evildoers aren't truly, meaningfully punished, they'll return and cause far more harm than ever.

If there's another way to guarantee they'll stop, I'd like that. But my priority is helping good people.

Part of it is just wanting the problem to go away. Understandable, but impossible.

Part of it is seeing Democrats as not actively fighting. Some have, but Schumer folding on the first shutdown fight was really bad. To be fair, so far he's handling this one very well.

If there's violence at a protest, ALWAYS assume it's the right. Because it always is. Doubly so if anyone from the GOP tells you they're on the left.

Always monitor your protests carefully, but remember who's causing the violence.

That's exactly how it is. We talk about MAGAs 'voting against their interests' by voting for Rs who take their jobs and healthcare. But their true interests are in hurting others, which is incredibly sad.

We know they're recruiting ICE agents by sending messages to Nazis on Twitter. And those guys are pathetic little cowards at heart. It's easy to look tough wearing body armor and beating scared children, but when a few adults tell them off, they'll run off crying.

Keep that in mind.
