Ok so [SECRET PROJECT] took less time to prepare than expected so time to reveal [SECRET PROJECT]!!

I'm gonna start streaming soon! First stream is planned to be October 1st at 9:00 AM EST, but could end up being delayed; I'm not giving myself a strict schedule this is mostly just for funsies.

Next stream will likely be Friday morning at the usual time of 9 or 10 AM EST, *however* I do want a 1-stream break from Warriors All-Stars, so instead of that I'm going to finally play Castlevania 1, a game that isn't very long but I've wanted to play for years, plus it's fitting for the month!

Relatively successful WAS session today, progress toward filling out the new spreadsheet for all battles to find those last few uncompleted stages is very slow, but steady. Surprisingly we also made a lot of progress toward Ryu Hayabusa's regard, which wasn't even what were focusing on this time!

I'm generally pretty mixed on most remakes, but I think the 1 situation in which they're 100% positive is when they give a game the opportunity to finally be released in multiple languages, *especially* VNs.
As much as I love fan translations, official releases are definitely more easily accessible.

It's so good how many visual novels have gotten remakes, alongside an official English release for the first time this year: ToHeart, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, etc.
They all had fan translations years prior, but it's still crazy to see official English language versions decades after original release.

aaaaa this means the WAS grind is going to be extended a few hours beyond the existing projected regard grind I HATE THIS GAME AAAA GET ME OUT OF THIS PRISON that's a lie I knew what I signed up for I mentally prepared myself for this hell BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I HAVE TO LIKE IT >:C this game sucks.

The worst part is that Warriors All-Stars tracks this stuff very poorly in-game; there *is* a list of battle rumors to show which you have/haven't already done, but it's not as accurate as it should be
So next WAS stream will be spreadsheet nerd time, I'm gonna need to track EVERY battle I complete!
Battle Rumors list with 2 battles marked as "?????" I am fairly certain I have completed both of these battles at least once before in my 130 hours of playtime there aren't that many story battles available, so either I'm insane or these are marked incorrectly and I won't know unless I manually track everything!

Okay so after today's stream I have realized that finishing the last dramatic battle(s) and getting that final steam achievement is going to be much more of an investment than expected...
I'd assumed the only battle I had yet to do was "Timenoids & Humans", but turns out there's at least 1 more ;-;

Spending most of today *finally* actually learning the basics of OBS (I've just kinda been winging it up to this point) but before starting that I decided to quickly sort through the remaining musou guidebooks I'd yet to scan to see which ones already had existing scans online, and a few did!

There's no in-game tracking for whether you've completed every request at once, so I didn't actually need to do any of that, but considering I'm spending this much time in this terribly boring game, I thought I might as well. Very glad to get the final major extra objective out of the way!

Made huge progress on Warriors All-Stars today, Laegrinna regard maxed in only 1 stream, but even more importantly than that we finished the final request, meaning I can finally go back to doing NG+ runs instead of running circles on a near-dead map and the regard grind is going to speed up *a lot*!
Sophie request "Collect more than 200 materials from the "Atelier" series." Achieved! That's the final request I had left to do in this cycle, so I've now done every request in a single NG+ run!

AAAAAAA I woke up perfectly on time today! Stream starting very soon!

For the first time in streaming history (2 weeks) I get to play as a character I actually enjoy (Laegrinna) in this game that I no longer enjoy at all! (Warriors All-Stars)

After my 1 day break from all things public speaking-related I am prepared for streaming again tomorrow at [NORMAL TIME] (normal time is 9AM/10AM EST depending on whether I wake up on time)

Very successful today, did everything I'd planned to +extra! Refreshed myself on coding in preparation for next website update, caught up a bit on scanning and uploading said scans (archive.org/details/@ilaiyayaya)

And I've finally updated my profile on THIS WEBSITE so it's much less of a mess now!

I wasn't able to get a ton of hobby-productivity done this week nor last (streams not counting, those are largely funny fun time) so I want to make up for that with maximum prioritization now!

Maybe someday I'll try streaming that, but I certainly don't have the focus for both at once yet, sorryz!

This weekend I also plan to put in time into ironing out a bunch of stream stuff all at once (basically I'm going to actually learn how to use OBS for real along with a few other programs) so most likely the only proper stream this week will be Friday morning (as usual, probably at 9AM/10AM EST)

Heads up: instead of streaming tomorrow I plan to use that time to scan books and work on my website!

Both because of general life busyness as well as focusing on stream stuff I pretty much haven't worked on either at all this past month so I want to catch up a bit on those!

The movement system is really good in this game, it feels really fun to combo dashes into slopes and then kill 5 bees good schmoovement (I'm going to kill Serenity for getting me to start saying "schmoovement")

Very fun roguelike, not a genre I'm usually a fan of but I like this one (in spite of framerate issues near the end but it's a demo it's forgivable)
Also I believe this originates from a Terraria mod and I think that's super neat!
