Today for the Daily Yonder. I spent time out on the water to report this story on the small but growing group in Maine’s aquaculture industry who are testing electric propulsion.

Thanks to @ijnr.bsky.social for a grant award that helped make this story possible.

Reclaiming land is critical to Native nations' food sovereignty. The problem: some of that land is toxic enough to be designated Superfund, or is otherwise degraded by ag, mining, logging. My latest for @foodprintorg.bsky.social with a shoutout to @ijnr.bsky.social foodprint.org/blog/reclaim...
Restoring Native foodways requires returning land. What happens when it's contaminated?

I have a new blog coming out since I lost my previous site in a hosting snafu. Working on the first post now. This entry may have something to do with my trip with @ijnr.bsky.social earlier this month.

Also, did you know giant tour buses can go off road?

From a journalist friend: Just spreading the word. The CDC is purging data, so people should archive their favorite CDC datasets today, namely ones around race/ethnic diversity, LGBTQ, and reproductive health. Also health data involving climate. The youth risk behavior survey has already gone down.
