The EU must design and develop a new, more pragmatic and constructive relationship with Turkey/Turkije! It should treat Turkey less as a possible future member of EU - which is very unrealistic - but as a partner for strengthening European security - in the Middle East, the Black Sea region etc!

Ich fand das Buch sehr anregend auch wenn es schwierig ist eine erfolgreiche Gratwanderung zwischen Diplomatie und Unterstützung der protestierenden Zivilgesellschaft zu gehen! Europa sollte beides umsetzten!
