After my dad died I’d skip class, grades dropped, detentions stacked, etc. I still drew but I didn’t care about anything. The principal called me into her office one day, figured I messed up again, but she just handed me a box of colored pencils and said “happy birthday”. NEVER forgot that.

I noticed that I am pretty isolated when it comes to art. I am not part of a community and I think that's a reason why I don't improve as much as I wanted. I don't have a reference, competitors or instant feedback. I am like floating in a bubble without touching anything.

Debating whether I should paint/cell shade it since I’m pretty happy with it. The screenshot of Amity was originally the pose I was going for then it started to look like crap, so I did a quick stick man figure and rolled with that. Maybe I’ll share the speedpaint if I change my mind.
