My heart is heavy following yet another tragic school shooting and yet another hate-fueled antisemitic act of murder. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones, which include local ties. May the memories of those who senselessly and needlessly perished be for a blessing. 💔

My heart is heavy to have learned of a fatality involving a scooter rider on California near Addison. My office is in communication with BPD, and we will share more details as we receive them. My thoughts are with the loved ones of the victim. Thank you to our first responders who rendered aid. 💔

Just spoke at the Bay Area Air District in support of staying the course in adopting zero-emission appliances and water heaters, consistent with my unanimously adopted #berkeley resolution. Proud to stand with hundreds of constituents and community members in support of better health outcomes.

This mural in #district4 is even more meaningful to all of us now as it was to me then. I was honored to reconnect with its muralist Mokhtar and learn more about its origins. I recommit to celebrating and defending my fellow immigrants, and #berkeley proudly recommits to being a sanctuary for all.
