It wasn't. It was called snapper, it just used the pacman character in the gam and cover art.
Are you producing the follow up to this classic?
Yes. Williams who did the arcade machine. It was a bit naughty for Acornsoft to do that. It was the same with Snapper, which originally used a pacman character. Had to be withdrawn and replaced.
Just tape, except where it's disk or rom only. Had to draw the line somewhere! Missing some language roms and some special titles like the Paul Daniels one. Also think I'm missing some of the educational titles. I really need to find a complete catalog - I've only got parts catalog to compare to
@kevedwardsretro.bsky.social still got some more to go to complete my Acornsoft collection! Not pictured are the hundreds of superior software titles (both pre and post Acornsoft buyout) I probably ought to document this lot somewhere
I prefer to play the original on the left of this picture :)
Sir, this may be the greatest thing you've ever put online.

Some are querying whether Andrew can renounce a dukedom without an Act of Parliament.

But you can parse a duchy and he’s left outside.

Good night.
Thank you! It's still horrible, but at least it's more bearable. My wallpaper stayed also, FWIW.

AS I recall, I used another t-piece on the end of a cable as a connector to the t-piece on the network.....I laugh and wince now
First day, in first job aged 18. I knew nothing about networking, and simply jammed a cable from the empty t-piece to my workstation (not enough slack in cable for t-piece to reach). Brought the entire network down and the senior dev was hunting under desks. Still wince about that
Time Changes Everything by John Squire. Was massively looking forward to it and it was basically bad sixth form poetry terribly sung. Listened once and never have again. CD still in the cupboard somewhere
Was playing this on my BBC Micro last week! My collection
Ah ok, not tried to park anywhere since Saturday. It’s just park which was a little cheaper, figures :)
He’s modelled himself on fit Finlay in his Belfast bruiser phase
Hahaha I didn’t even need to hear his accent to know Ian was from norn iron. Cracking tache and mullet gave it away #gbbo
Yeah, take your pick from ringo and just park in BCP. One of them charges a few pence more than the other and I can never remember which
I've had some recent tests, and 600ml feels like I'm going to explode and is almost painful. I can't even imagine what 2000ml must feel like
Is that a pre-allo allo Madam Fanny?

The fact that the thing we're calling artificial intelligence *can't do math* and yet we're jamming it into programs that successfully *have done math* for decades, then warning people against using the AI to do math, seems like an excellent summary of where we are.
Good thing no one uses Microsoft Excel for anything related to legal, regulatory or compliance business functions
