From Forsyth Street, The Metropolitan (darker building) and 2 Peachtree Street on the right. The Metropolitan, built in, 1911, was originally the Third National Bank Building, then Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan when it was resurfaced with aluminum in the 1960s. In 1996 it was converted to condos.

The shot concentrates on the dark block of the Metropolitan building with the buildings around it washed out.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

Taken of a bedroom window in the second place we lived in on Broad Street, downtown Augusta, while attending college. These were old wood venetian blinds rather than metal.

Yeah. I grew up largely unchurched then my family joined the RC. As it was my 3rd baptism, and I'd been unchurched, I could be skeptical of the RC experience as a child, but was sucked in by the ritual. Problem is I was under a priest who I waited for decades to make it onto the Bishop...
