Board games, some video games.

I like strategy games with minimal luck.

@meeplelady.bsky.social have you played Neither King Nor God?
The biggest game I played at SPIEL: #NeitherKingNorGod @soundofdrumgames.bsky.social
Despite its epicness, it plays both smoothly and with little downtime – thanks to its action selection system of sending out courtiers to Europe's hotspots.

Enjoyed a game of Orleans the other day. One of my favorites that I don’t own. #boardgames

Finally got to play Fled! It’s a fun little puzzle and a bowl of nice frustration when you can’t do everything you want.

Tried Tiny Bookshop on Switch—way outside my usual sports/FPS comfort zone, but this cozy little sim totally surprised me.

Yeah, it can get a bit repetitive, but even as someone who doesn’t read much, I found the gameplay immersive and charming.

One of my highlights of Origins 2025 was playing The First Monday of October. A great worker placement immersed in theme. At the same time you don’t need to love the theme to appreciate the game play. #boardgames @fortcircle.bsky.social

Finally got to play Arcs at Origins after watching it light up other tables all weekend. Tight, clever, beautiful—totally worth the wait. Sad to leave, but what a way to close it out. #OriginsGameFair #ArcsGame #BoardGames #PostConBlues #timeforanap

Sitting down for Dune: Imperium at Origins—time to choose my leader. Who should I be?

•🤴 Baron Harkonnen – top-tier villainy

•🛡️ Duke Leto Atreides – alliance-stealer

•🐗 Glossu “The Beast” Rabban – brute

Taught Weather Machine at Origins and completely botched the rules. Somehow… very on theme. Still a blast, still confusing, still ready for round 2. #VitalLacerda #OriginsGameFair #WeatherMachine #BoardGameChaos

At Origins Game Fest this week and already dropped my first two games of A Gest of Robin Hood. Off to a thematically accurate start, I guess. 😅 #OriginsGameFair #BoardGames #RobinHood #TabletopTroubles

18XX games can be great fun to spend time with; especially if you are interesting in period and area they are describing plus love Railways. Recently we played two titles and had enormous fun with them - enjoy my session reports!

Exciting session with 18XX games!
While I am first and foremost interested in conflict, political and historical types of boardgames, I like to play an economy themed game form time to time. And what would be a better title than on…
