86% satisfaction! The @advancehe.bsky.social PTES 2025 shows PGT quality perception is up. But the biggest challenge remains Community: students with disabilities & part-time learners report lower belonging. This data demands targeted investment in inclusive support.

15% of large district contracts offer differentiated pay for #teachers in high-poverty schools, while nursing contracts represented by the same union (AFT) offer bonuses up to 24% above base pay. The data weakens the claim that bonus pay is divisive.

Two-thirds of employers say new hires lack experience, leading to entry-level jobs demanding years of prior work. The fix: A portfolio approach to work-based learning, moving from simple simulations to full apprenticeships, embedded directly in the curriculum.

The AI challenge is not job loss; it's a skills gap: We know which jobs AI can't replace, but we aren't training people fast enough (America needs 16M healthcare workers). Education must shift from teaching content to teaching humanity.

Bloom's Taxonomy is too linear.

@educause.bsky.social article proposes the Radial Taxonomy: combining Fink's 6 domains (like Commitment and Caring) with 3 depth levels (Exposure, Proficiency, Mastery). The goal: a holistic, adaptable, and equitable assessment model.

The assessment crisis is real: 43% of students use AI for assignments.

The solution? Dialogue at Scale. AI agents enable 24/7 personalized Socratic tutoring, turning conversation into the new assessment artifact. Time to upgrade from the "buggy whip" LMS.

Generative AI is done. The Agentic AI wave is here: autonomous 24/7 project managers.

Institutions must start the 36-month transition now to avoid losing on price and quality. Step 1: Agent Readiness Audit to fix data silos.

NP demand up 40% by 2033. But policy lags:

🔵 27 states grant NPs Full Practice Authority (FPA).
🔵 23 states/territories impose Reduced or Restricted Authority, requiring career-long oversight.

It's time for autonomous practice nationwide.

2.8 million students in dual enrollment. Yet, policy is reactive & incomplete.

States heavily fund teacher credentialing but overlook holistic quality: advising, college navigation, and supportive systems. We must prioritize systems before scale.

The ADA Title II "Time Bomb" is ticking. 💣

New federal rules require WCAG 2.1 AA for all web & media. The game-changer is audio descriptions for video, creating a massive, unquantified compliance risk starting April 2026.

In the AI era, universities must stop treating industry as a vendor.

Partnerships must be built on shared purpose and mutual growth to benefit the learner. They expand opportunity; transactions narrow it.

The AI Tsunami is here. Education must be systemically redesigned.

The answer is Interactionalism: using AI to foster dialogical learning and assess processes (not just products). AI helps us become "more deeply and distinctly human".

AI is not a collapse, it's a catalyst.

@educause.bsky.social article with the opinion that the goal is to deliver artisanal-quality learning at an industrial scale. AI handles the repetitive tasks (24/7 Socratic tutoring) to let human faculty focus on mentorship.

By 2030, we must adopt agentic AI and embodied AI (robots) to create a "synergetic campus" that democratizes mastery-based learning at scale. Delaying adoption risks being left permanently behind.
