Update: the fire closest to me is MUCH more well-contained now. The smoke is awful, but I am otherwise safe. I’ll do my best to find a way to keep this from setting back my lungs recovering.

Checking in to say that I’m safe and not currently in an evacuation zone, but I’ve packed a bag just in case the fires get closer. I have friends who are closer to one of the fires so I’m pretty stressed 😰

If you care about small creators you need to uninstall Honey

The extension is also actively hiding better coupon codes from you in partnership with retailers, you're better off looking for yourself.

Now close that browser tab, click your fave’s affiliate link, and this time enter that coupon code manually WITHOUT running Honey. Now you get the discount, and the creator still gets their commission! Everybody wins!

You still want to save a little money while supporting the creator you love? Great! Basically, you can go to checkout and use Honey to check for coupon codes, but DO NOT COMPLETE THE PURCHASE. Copy the coupon code instead!

Basically, in the process of trying out coupon codes, Honey TAKES AWAY the browser cookie that tells the company that your fave creator sent you. It’s as if you never clicked their affiliate link at all!

Currently wearing a mask in my own home because I need the windows open to lower the humidity, but the air quality outside is terrible, so opening the windows also means the particulate matter reading on my air quality meter has gone from 2 to 35…. 🙃

Breathing is getting really bad again :< The air quality has been pretty awful in my area…. and today I cannot get the humidity in my apartment to go below 64%, and it’s supposed to be at least under 60 and ideally lower. I still can’t get an appointment with my doctor until late January… help 😭
